Needed: An off-the-shelf Notes based CRM

I've had a request to recommend an off-the-shelf Notes-based CRM which supports mobile devices. The product would be involved in a shootout with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM so it would be worth knowing how well the recommended Notes product has scored in previous product comparisons and what its key features are v. MS Dynamics.

The customer is running Notes 6.5 and not looking to upgrade to R8.5 in the near future so no XPage applications please.

Relavis and Act! for Notice (Vigilus.net) are two great applications. The latter integrates with eProductivity, too. Check with GROUP, too.

Graham If the customer is only using Notes 6.5 how do you propose to communicate with Mobiles?

We have a Contact Management system that work with Notes 6.5. You can send mails from it record details, documents into Prospects , customers, and Suppliers. There is an add on sales module, that tracks, sales performance, by individual or team, there is an option to have a built in quote system as well.

We are based in Thailand, and the price can be very competitive.

A shootout between an outdated classic Notes application and an up-to-date Dynamics CRM?
That is what I would call a fair game. If you don't have to care about money then just take Dynamics. It works really nice (especially if you are doing Dynamics consulting / custom development).

I would recommend either Salesplace or iEnterprises both fine companies and the leaders in Notes based CRM and Mobility

Thanks everyone... I will pass these recommendations on to the customer and work with him to see what fits his organization.

@Gavin... does this 'Community' product you mention have any users who will give it a positive recommendation?

I work for iEnterprises - Even under version 6.5 we are able to connect a mobile client and provide a local replica of the application on BlackBerry , iPhone etc. If your client has a real need we would be glad to do a web demo. You can schedule a demo here - http://www.ienterprises.com/lotus-notes-crm - Good luck with whatever you do!

Ah, Graham, you have me there. Not a great deal of support inside our organisation (yet) but we haven't done any training or any kind of inside marketing. Things will change when we explain what it is and how it works.

but...

I'll say this. It has improved. It is working and it does have a future here. They're not things I could have said 6 months ago, but I'm much happier now.

Surprisingly it really is modelling our complex electoral group structures.

Even scarier, last week I turned our gateway over to it entirely...

...and it worked. No complaints at all. Next week, I'll feed it some more databases and see what happens (fingers crossed).

There's a product from an Icelandic outfit called GoPro.

Hugvit are the comapny in charge. They also have websphere, and .net versions.

Although there are differences between them. We use it, not out of choice, but out of legacy. I can't recommend it for what I'm doing, but they do allow heavy customisations.
