Will Domino R8.51 run on Windows Server 2008 R2?

A customer wants to run Domino R8.51 on Windows Server 2008 R2 but that version of Windows Server isn't listed as a supported OS. I'm sure the answer is that it runs OK, but can someone point out an IBM document that approves of that configuration?

A customer wants to know...

@Jan,

That is the document I referred to in my post. It lists Windows Server 2008 but doesn't mention R2. The customer is specifically asking about Windows Server 2008 R2.

Hi,

the answer I got a few days ago from IBM:

Request to add support for Windows 2008 R2 has been recorded to enhancement
request SPR # TWIG84KH4N.

Situation of SPR # TWIG84KH4N dated 19.04.2010:
"8.52 is when we plan to support 2008 R2 and the release note/technote for
8.52 will have this information when it is released.
It is possible that it will be decided that R2 can be supported for
earlier releases of Domino (like 8.51). Dependent on what happens the
appropriate technotes will be modified during the process."
